REPEAT

Our mission is to challenge the fast fashion industry by offering curated recrafted and vintage clothing, while hosting critical and creative events.

REFASHION FACTORY is more than just a store—it’s a platform for innovative Danish designers, with a special emphasis on those based in Aarhus. Featuring both vintage clothing and accessories alongside carefully recrafted pieces—from upcycled textiles to jewellery crafted from repurposed materials—each item reflects a dedication to craftsmanship and environmental care.

REFASHION FACTORY seeks to inspire conscious choices while addressing the challenges of creating a more sustainable fashion industry. We invite everyone to join this movement by participating in creative workshops and critical events, and by supporting local designers. We are committed to nurturing an inclusive community where diversity is celebrated and awareness flows naturally from consumer to designer, reinforcing sustainable practices at every level.

REFASHION FACTORY also operates a unique circular system, where vintage clothing in poor condition is repaired and reimagined by talented young designers and tailors. Through partnerships with local upcycling designers, tailors, and recrafters who challenge conventional production methods, we curates collections that honour both craftsmanship and environmental responsibility. Currently, we collaborate with:

GLASSTYK, MARI MARI, MIDNIGHT METALS, BRÚ DESIGN STUDIO, CLOTHO, UDE AF PROPO, SKOVFOLK STUDIO, MØHLDE, TALIPHERA, PATAKO STUDIOS, SUBMARINO, VAER UPCYCLED and KWAM JEWELRY

We are open to collabs with local art and cultural organisations.

Frederikke Bruland

Designer

BRÚ DESIGN STUDIO is an Aarhus-based brand that redefines slow fashion through functionality, versatility, and sustainable innovation. Founded by Frederikke Bruland, BRÚ draws inspiration from Japanese aesthetics and the outdoor lifestyle, integrating adjustable elements, multisize adaptability, hidden reflective or UV details, and water-repellent fabrics into each design. Many pieces are crafted from leftover materials, minimising environmental impact and emphasising the brand’s commitment to sustainability.

BRÚ DESIGN STUDIO offers made-to-order and rental options, aiming to reduce overproduction and promote a conscious approach to fashion. Each piece combines timeless design with environmental responsibility, creating clothing that is as practical as it is distinctive.

SKOVFOLK

Designer

Skovfolk embraces upcycled design, drawing deep inspiration from nature’s hidden magic. Each unique piece is crafted from existing clothes and textiles, given new life through creative processes and intuitive craftsmanship. Working from her studio in Aarhus, founder Jessica Skov transforms clothes and textiles into sustainable designs that embody the calm and mystique of the natural world.

At Skovfolk, there are no fixed rules or formulas; each design is free and experimental, created without traditional patterns. The result is a collection that goes beyond fashion—it is wearable art that honours nature with profound respect.

Ude af propo

Ude af Propo

Designer

Behind Ude af Propo (“out of proportion”) is Aarhus-based designer Martine Nebel, who creates sustainable designs that carry a story long before they take physical form. These pieces are meant to spark reactions—creations and concepts that truly live up to the name “out of proportion.” At Ude af Propo, there are no rules or formulas; each garment is crafted with a spirit of freedom, playfulness, and individuality.

In essence, Ude af Propo embraces a dreamy, intuitive approach to design, free from conventional patterns or recipes. And yes, unapologetically out of proportion.

“Wear it however you like—wear it as no one else can.” — Martine Nebel

Møhlde

Recrafter

MØHLDE sees beauty and purpose in every thread and yarn, believing that they simply have yet to find their rightful place. Each tote bag from MØHLDE is crafted entirely from 100% recycled materials, once forgotten but now reimagined. Every bag is a one-of-a-kind mix of colours, textures, and materials—no two are alike. Rather than fitting into a predefined mold, the yarns are allowed to “freestyle” and express themselves in a unique, organic way.

For founder Mathilde Møjen, the process of creating each tote bag brings a deep sense of calm, much like her visits to the cinema, where she often works on her bags while watching a film. This mindful crafting practice adds an extra layer of personal connection and creativity to each piece. The result is a vibrant collection that resonates with individuality, sustainability, and the joy of the process, allowing each tote bag to tell its own story.

Glasstyk

Designer & entrepreneurs

Glasstyk’s jewellery collection centres on glass fragments that have gracefully rested in the sea for decades. Shaped by water, sand, and stones, these pieces are transformed through natural erosion, emerging as polished, vibrant treasures—the essence of Glasstyk’s unique creations.

Behind the Aarhus-based company Glasstyk are two entrepreneurs and recrafters, Anne Fahl and Emma Norup.

“Each piece of jewellery we offer is truly one-of-a-kind, carrying an untold story of its origin. It’s a captivating mystery, inviting us to wonder what it once was and the journey it has undergone” - Anne Fahl, founder and co-owner.

Gennem Gaden

Designer

Gennem Gaden transforms discarded materials into unique, handcrafted bags and accessories, infusing each piece with new purpose and personality. Founded by Emma Lindberg in Copenhagen, Gennem Gaden takes an artisanal approach to upcycling, where every item is thoughtfully designed and crafted with respect for the original material’s history.

At Gennem Gaden, you can order a custom-made bag tailored to your specific preferences, or even join sewing classes to learn how to create your own designs. Each piece tells a story of sustainable craftsmanship and creativity—making it more than just an accessory, but a statement of individuality and purpose.
